Alien is a futuristic science-fiction horror film series. The antagonist of the movies are a predatory parasite extraterrestrial species. The designs of the Alien species and some of the other elements of the films was created by the Swiss artist, H.R. Giger (Hans Ruedi Giger).
The titles of the movies are Alien (1979), Aliens (1986), Alien³ (1992), and Alien Resurrection (1997). There are also two spinoffs movies that use the alien creatures in the movie: Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Alien vs. Predator: Requiem (2007).
