Animal House plot line is about two freshmen (Lawrence "Larry" Kroger and Kent Dorfman) in 1962 seeking to join a fraternity at Faber College. After attempting to be accepted in other faturities, they end up pledging in Delta Tau Chi House (a partying fraternity) and receive the fraternity names "Pinto" (Larry) and "Flounder" (Kent). Meanwhile, the Vernon Wormer, the Dean of Faber College, wants to remove the Delta fraternity from campus due to repeated conduct violations and low academic standings. Mischief and hi jinx follows.
